Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 As IImetric LOCA Loads On May 9, 1978, Florida Power 8 Light Company (FPL) responded to your letter of January 25, 1978 in whi ch you requested a detailed schedule for providing an evaluation of the effects of asymmetric loss of coolant acci dent loads (as described in Enclosure 2 of your letter).

In our letter we stated that FPL was a member of a utility task group which, with the assistance of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, had outlined the steps necessary to complete an evaluation of the type requested.

At that time we had not fully reviewed and approved the enti re program and stated that upon approval we would notify the Commission and provide a summary of the scope and schedule.

FPL has approved the utility task group program and is now an active participant in all of its phases.

Our understanding of the current schedule status for this program is presented below:
