Dear Mr. Hutchinson:
We have reviewed your "0CAN069804, Forwards Scenario Package for ANO 1998 Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise (REX-98) IAW 60-day pre-exercise Schedule Specified by NRC [[Inspection procedure" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid.,Exhibit 1. Encl Withheld Until 980819,date of Exercise|letter dated June 12, 1998]], and the enclosed scenario package for the Arkansas Nuclear One biennial radiological emergency preparedness exercise scheduled for August 19, 1998.

Based on our review, we determined that the exercise scenario is appropriate to meet emergency plan requirements and exercise objectives.
Minor questions were resolved during a June 24, 1998, telephone discussion with Mr. Randy Gresham of your staff.
We were unable to contact the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region VI, during our review. Ifany.comments arise during subsequent contact, we willrelay them to your staff.
