In our review of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company submittals dated September 9, 1983, November 4, 1983, March 30, 1984, April 10, 1985, December 31, 1985 and December 31,
- 1986, on Generic Letter 83-28, we have determined that for Item 2.2.2, there is insufficient information in the responses that address the control of vendor-supplied services for maintenance work on safety-related equipment.
He understand that IMEC committed to implement portions of the NUTAC/VETIP program, but IMEC did not state future practices, procedures, and activities implement the recommended implementation procedures for the internal handling of vendor services.
Please provide verification that the responsibilities and instructions for vendor-supplied services on safety-related equipment are defined and controlled appropriately.
It is also requested that you establish a schedule for the submittal of this information and inform this office.
