This letter submits the report of the second periodic Integrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT) for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 Reactor Containment (Attachment No.
1 to this letter).
This report is being submitted in compliance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J.
Please note, however, that the report should have been submitted to you approximately by November 1,
1981.
The precise reasons why it was not submitted are unknown to us at this time, but a Condition Report has been prepared by the Plant to document further investigation of this matter.
We regret any inconvenience this matter may have caused you.
This document has been prepared following Corporate Procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to insure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
