MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES MARCH 1996 HIGHLIGHTS The unit entered this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100%

RTP.

Commenced Rea'ctor power coastdown March 13, 1996 at 0000 in, preparation for refueling outage.

Reactor power was stabilized at 55%

March 21, 1996 at 2321 for Steam Generator safety valve testing.

The unit was removed from service on March 23, 1996 at 0357 for the cycle 10 to 11 refueling/maintenance outage.

The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 6 at 0% RTP.

There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.

Gross electrical generation for the month of March was 546530 MWH.
