Dear Sir:
Attached, is our preliminary written report of a reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55(e),
relating to factory repaired 600V cable delivered and partially installed in Unit 81 of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.
The results of the qualification testing now being conducted on the apparent deficient material are required before Arizona Public Service can determine what final corrective action will be taken.
It is expected that this information will be available in approximately sixty (60) days.
