MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES MAY 1995 HIGHLIGHTS The unit entered this reporting period in Mode 1 at 55% RTP.

An Unusual Event was declared on 05-19-95 due to entry into Technical Specification 3.0.3.

A review of past ISI examination techniques resulted in the Emergency Core Cooling System being declared inoperable.

The Unusual Event was exited on 05-19-95 following Nuclear Safety and Licensing evaluation.

During the event, power was reduced to approximately 98%

RTP on both units.

The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100%

RTP.

There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.

Gross electrical generation for the month of May was 810890 MWH.
