inspection.

Areas

examined during the inspection

are identified in the report.

Within

these

areas,

the inspection consisted of selective

examinations of procedures

and representative

records,

interviews with personnel,

and observation of

activities in progress.

During this inspection,

certain of your activities appeared

to be in violation

of NRC requirements.

However,

as described

in the enclosed

inspection report.

you identified these violations,

and to encourage

and support licensee

initiatives for self-identification

and correction of violations,

the

violations are not being cited because

the criteria specified

in Section VII.B

of the "General

Statement

of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement

Actions," (Enforcement Policy,

10 CFR Part 2, Appendix

C (1993)),

were

satisfied.

We are concerned

with the delay in returning

two non-safety related

to service after preventive

maintenance

activities were completed

due

to ineffective communication

between

the operations

and maintenance

personnel.

We have reviewed your corrective actions

and at this time have

no further

comments.

This area will be monitored in future i'nspections.
