(EST) on December 13,

1980, the D.

C.

Cook Nuclear Power Plant received a Bomb Threat from a female caller who stated "I planted a bomb'n your reactor".

The plant superintendent was onsite and instructed that all maintenance activities cease.

The Bomb Threat procedure was implemented and a thorough search of the plant revealed nothing.

The iVRC Resident inspector was onsite monitoring activi.ties.

Plant activities returned to normal at approximately'1:20 p.m.

The Sheriff and State Police were notified and the FBI was notified by either the State Police or Sheriff Department.

Vio press release is planned by the licensee or RIII.

Region III received notification of this event by telephone from Hg Duty Officer at 11:06 a.m.

(CST) on December 13, 1980.
