Design Electrical Rating (DER) NET MWe has been changed effective July 1, 1991.

This reduction is the result of the steam condenser tube replacement with stainless steel tubes, which cause a high turbine exhaust pressure.

• Item No. 7:

Maximum dependable capacity (MDC) NET MHe, effective July 1, 1991, will be 1000, during the period from May through October and 1020 during the period from November through April.

These NET ratings and capabilities reflect historical data on generating capability due to changes in lake water temperature.

At 1305 hours0.0151 days <br />0.363 hours <br />0.00216 weeks <br />4.965525e-4 months <br /> on August 19, 1991 Technical Specification (T/S) 3.0.3 was entered due to a rod control system failure that caused a violation of T/S 3.1.3.4 rod insertion limit on Shutdown Bank A, Group 2 rods. At 1403 hours0.0162 days <br />0.39 hours <br />0.00232 weeks <br />5.338415e-4 months <br /> a power reduction was started per the requirements of T/S 3.0.3 and an Unusual Event was also declared at this time.

Repairs were effected and unit power was restored to 99.54 RTP at 2130 hours0.0247 days <br />0.592 hours <br />0.00352 weeks <br />8.10465e-4 months <br /> on 910819.

The unit exited the reporting period at 99.5%'TP.

Gross electrical generation for the month of August was 761100 MWH.

DETAILS 08/19/91 1305 08/19/91 1403 1603 1647 2130 Entered T/S 3.0.3 due to flux map indication that Shutdown Bank A, Group 2 rods are inserted 4 steps in violation of T/S 3.1.3.4 L.C.OS Commenced power reduction per T/S 3.0.3 and declared an Unusual Event.

The.unit is at 97% RTP.

The rod control system malfunction has been repaired.

The unusual event has been exited, and unit. shutdown has been terminated.

Commenced unit power increase to 99.54 RTP.

The unit is at 99.54 RTP.
