NPDES Permit MX 0005827 The purpose of this letter is to describe the reason for missing intake and discharqe temperature data for Outfall 001 lUnit 1 discharge) at the Cook Nuclear Plant.
On March ?7, 1991< the automatic temperature recorder for this outfall f a l failed.
The failure resulted in no temperature measurements being recorded from March 28 to 31, 1991.
Xn order to prevent future occurrences, we will revise plant procedures to describe compensatory sampling measures to be implemented in the event of recorder failure.
