TO GENERIC LETTER 89"08, "EROSION/CORROSION INDUCED PIPE MALL THINNING" (TAC NOS.
73472 AND 73473)
By letter dated July 19, 1989, Indiana Michigan Power Company responded to NRC Generic Letter 89-08, "Erosion/Corrosion Induced Pipe Mall Thinning."
In your submittal, you confirmed that all actions required to address the issues discussed in the GL had been implemented for D.
C, Cook Units 1 and 2.
Additionally, you indicated that program enhancements beyond the requirements of the NUMARC/EPRI guidelines had been recommended by an internal audit and that these enhancements would be implemented by December 1989.
On the basis of this information, the staff finds your response to GL 89-08 to be acceptable.
Me consider implementation of this action to be complete and the associated TACs to be closed.
