Dear Mr. Davis:
This letter is to inform you that a cable tray fire enclosure has been inoperable for more than the seven days allowed by Technical Specification 3.7.10 Action a.
On March 13, 1989; a six foot portion of the cable tray fire enclosure (TSI material) for cable tray 2-AZC-62 located in Fire Zone 6S in the Unit Two Auxiliary Building was removed to allow installation of a new hanger.
At that time a fire watch, as required by Technical Specification 3.7.10 Action a, was established and remained in effect until the cable tray fire enclosure was returned to operable status on April 6, 1989.
