The purpose of this letter is to provide a schedule for our submittal of the Technical Specifications (T/Ss) required by NUREG-0737 as described in Generic Letter 83-37:
(1)
Reactor Coolant System Vents - Submitted in our letter dated L1rch 15, 1984.
(2)
Post-Accident Sampling -
This item is currently under review by NRC Region IXX.
Since the review could affect the content of associated T/Ss, our intent is to resolve this concern prior to requesting the T/S amendment for this item as well as items (4), (5),
and (6).
Information identifying the NUREG-0737 requirements and relevant correspondence is to be available for Region IIX review by September 30, 1985.
The T/S submittal schedule will depend on the Region's response to this review.

Long-Term Auxiliary Feedwater System Evaluation - Submitted in our letter dated April 23, 1985.

Noble Gas Effluent l!onitors - Awaiting Region XXX review as described in (2).

Containment Pressure Honitor - This T/S is planned to be submitted by October 1,
1985.

Containment Hydrogen Vonitor - This T/S is planned to be submitted by November 1,
1985.
(10) Instrumentation for Detection of Inadequate Core Cooling - T/Ss are planned to be submitted by October 1,
1985 for the Reactor Ves"el Level Indication System and by November 1,
1985 for the Unit 1
Incore Thermocouples.
It should be noted that these T/Ss will reflect our plans to install the Incore Thermocouples in Unit 2 durir~ the 1987 refueling outage after we have operating experience with the Unit 1 thermocouplcs.
(11) Control Room Habitability Requirement This T/S is not planned to be submitted until February 1,
1966.
This is because the T/Ss in Generic Letter 83-37 require revision to ensure consistency with the plant design.
Additional time is needed for development of a new T/S.
In addition to the above, we are currently developing an administrative procedure which will identify the equipment that is not in the T/Ss but must be operable to comply with confirmatory orders and license conditions.
This procedu> e will include the equipment specified in NUREG-0737.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
