In reference to our letter dated September 3,
1980, this is to provide updated information regarding site access of RIII personnel to your facilities and the authorized inspector access lists which were provided with that letter.
The NRC Division of Security. periodically requires the rebadging of all NRC personnel.
All NRC personnel and NRC contractors currently are being issued new photo-identification badges.
Examples of the new version of the badge inserts are attached.
We expect the entire staff will be rebadged by approximately November 15, 1980.
During this interim period, some inspectors may arrive at your sites with the new badges whose serial numbers do not coincide with badge numbers on the access lists provided to you by letter dated September 3,
1980.
Until we are able to provide you with a revised list with the new badge
- numbers, should you have reason to question the identity of any NRC inspector, please contact this office.
We emphasize that the substance of our lists and need for access for inspectors has not changed.
The lists of names transmitted previously continue to remain effective until superseded.
