NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION INDIANA MICHIGAN POWER COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-316 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No.>ooto Facility Operating License No.
DPR-74, issued to Indiana Michigan Power Company (the licensee),
which revised the license for operation of the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant, Unit No.
2 (the facility), located in Herrien County, Michigan.
The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
This amendment approves the steam generator repair program for the facility and provides a license condition related to the repair operation.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate
- findings, as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment and.Opportunity for Prior Hearing in connection with this action was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on March 19, 1987 (52 FR 8680).
No request for a hearing or petition for leave to intervene was filed following this notice.
Also in connection with this action, the Commission prepared a Notice of
'I Issuance of,Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact which was published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on December 2, 1987, at 52 FR 45880.
