,Ld OO Pursuant to discussions. with Mr. D. L. Wigginton of your staff, please be advised that our response to Generic Letter 87-12, "Loss of Residual Heat Removal (RHR) while the Reactor Coolant System (RCS) Is Partially Filled" will be delayed until November 21, 1987.
In preparing our response we found it to be more complex than originally anticipated, and this additional time is needed for internal review.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to insure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
