This letter responds to your staff's request (Ref. 2) for additional information related to our proposal (Ref.
- 1) to delete Technical Specification 3/4.6.2.2 (Spray Additive System) from the D.
C.
Cook Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications.
Specifically, we were asked to supply additional information concerning containment spray drop characteristics, as modeled in the Westinghouse Electric Corporation analysis (Ref.
- 3) which was submitted in support of the proposed Technical Specification change.
The information requested has been obtained from Westinghouse Electric Corporation and is contained in the attached table.
