Dear Mr. Dolan:
'n our review of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company submittal dated February 28, 1986 on deleting the requirements for sodium hydroxide in the containment sprays, we have identified additional information we will need.
The IMEC analysis is provided for 3 compartments.
Please provide the average drop size of the spray in each compartment and the average time of the drops to fall from their spray to the sump in the respective compartment.
This information is needed to check the iodine absorption by the spray in each compartment.
IMEC should establish a schedule for submittal of this information and inform this office.
