MI 0005827 Steam Generator Blowdown On July 9, 1986, during preparation of the NPDES Monthly Operating Report, it was discoverd that a,grab sample for a suspended solids on the Unit 2 Steam Generator blowdown was not obtained on June 29 during startup.
On June 29, when Unit 2 startup was in progress, the blowdown system was used to reduce reactor coolant temperature for a period of one hour and forty-five minutes.
This period was the only use made of the blowdown system during the weekly sampling period frequency.
By copy of this letter, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is notified pursuant to the requirements of Appendix B, Part II, Nonradiological Environmental Protection Plan, Section 3.2.
