Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter responds to Mr.
W. L. Axelson's, letter dated January 28, 1985 which forwarded the subject Inspection Report of the routine safeguards inspection conducted by your staff at the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant during the period of January 7-11, 1985.
During the inspection, three items appeared to be in non-compliance.
Action was taken to correct Item No. 2, and therefore at your direction, no reply to this item will be included in this response.
Item Nos.
1 and 3 concern a subject matter which is exempt from disclosure according to Section 73.21(c)(2) of the NRC's "Rules of Practice",
Part 73, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
In accordance with provisions of 10 CFR 73.21, it is requested that the subject transmittal be withheld from public disclosure and not placed in the Public Document Room.
