Dear Mr. Denton:
Based on telephone discussions with your staff on May 25, and June 1, 1984, we are providing this letter as a correction to our letter AEP:NRC:0860A, dated March 15, 1984.
In AEP:NRC:0860A we proposed a
change to Technical Specification (T/S) 3/4 10.5.
The T/S page attached to this letter more correctly delineates the intent of the proposed T/S change.
Therefore, we request that you use the T/S page attached to this letter, instead of the one attached to AEP:NRC:0860A, in your review of the proposed change.
Our safety evaluation and analysis pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92, which were described in AEP:NRC:0860A, are still valid for the proposed change.
This letter just corrects the language and intent of the proposed change.
The Attachment. to this letter contains the corrected page for T/S 3/4 10.5.
The changes from the currently approved T/S are identified by vertical lines on the right hand margin of the page.
The T/S page contained in this letter has been reviewed and approved by the Plant Nuclear Safety Review Committee and will be reviewed by the AEPSC Nuclear and Design Review Committee at its next meeting.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1),
a copy of this letter is being transmitted to the appropriate official of the State of Michigan.
In that this request just corrects the language of a previously requested T/S change, we interpret 10 CFR 170.22 as not requiring any additional fee.
