Plant, Unit No..2.
This license condition requires that.the check valves providing pressure isolation protectioh of,low pressure 'safety system fr'om the full reactor pressure be periodically leak tested..
Since 'l980,.we have.per formed $ressure
'fpo'fation Valve (PIV) reviews for new plants and operating plants as they enter.ed. the Inservice.Testing. (IST) review.
The requirement to leak test PIVs has.been retained and has been put into each plant's Technical Specifications.
tte are currently reviewing the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant IST.programs and it is our intent.to include the PIY issue in that geview.
Therefore, vie will not remove the license condition at this time.
ll In. the near future we expect to begin disc0ssions on the IST review. If you wish to pursue the PIY issue further, we will be glad to do so as part of that review.
