Castresana on March 1, 1983, concerning the fire protection review.
In a recent but limited review of fire dampers at the D.
C.
Cook plant it was not apparent in the information available to us that you were considering the separation criteria of Section III.G of Appendix R for the adjacent areas where fire dampers will not be installed.
Please be advised, again, that the lack of fire dampers between adjacent areas containing redundant trains of safe shutdown equipment needs to be evaluated in the ongoing safe shutdown analysis.
