TMI ACTION PLAN ITEM II.K.3.3, REPORTING RELIEF VALVE SAFETY VALVE FAILURES AND CHALLENGES We have reviewed your response to the above THI Action Plan Item dated June 20, 1980.
Your response did not commit to meeting all of the reporting requirements for this issue.
Specifically. the prompt reporting of RV 8 SV failures and the periodic reporting of challenges beginning in April 1980.
It is requested that you provide by letter your commitment to comply with the above reporting requirements.
Your response is requested within 30 days receipt of this letter.
It is planned that these reporting requirements will be'ormalized administratively in your plant's Technical Specifications.
We will contact you in the future regarding this.
This request for information was approved by the Office of Management and Budget under clearance number 3150-0065 which expires May 31, 1983.
