Me have received a copy of your application dated Nay 26, 1981, which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (OHRR) for reviev(.
The application proposed seven changes to the Technical Specifications for D.C. Cook Unit Nos.
1 and 2 and was accompanied by a check in the amount of $7,600 for a Class III, two Class II, and three Class I fees as required by 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on information provided to us by the OHRR s)aff as a result of a preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that:

The items identified in your application as Change Hos.
1 through 5
are collectively acceptable as Classes II and I fees, and 2.
The item identified as Change Ho.
6 is properly categorized by your Company as Classes III and I, 3.
Change No.
7 will involve a single safety issue; therefore, a Class III
($4,000) fee is applipable in lieu of the Class II fee of $1,200 which you paid for one of the units.
On this basis, an additional sum of $2,800 is due for Change Ho. 7. It is requested that this amount be remitted to our office.
The Class I fee which you paid for the other unit is appropriate.
If the ONRR staff's final review of your application reveals that any of these fees are not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
