He have received a copy of your request dated December 18, 1979, which you filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for consideration.
This document provided the results of panel and electrical switchgear qualification testing for D.C. Cook Unit No.
2 fn fulfillment of Conditions 3.A and 3.B of Amendment No.
6 to License No.
DPR-74, and requested deletion of these conditions from the license.
Your request was not accompanied by a license amendment fee as required by 10 CFR 170.22.
It fs our understanding that the data you provided must be evaluated before consideration can be given to your request for deletion, of the license conditions.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of their preliminary review of your December 18 filing, we have determined that the required action involves consideration of a single safety issue which qualifies it as a Class III fee item. It fs requested that $4,000 be forwarded to this office promptly. If the final review of the data by the ONRR staff reveals that this fee is incorrect, you will be refunded any overpayment or billed for any additfonal amount due.
