Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is to confirm our verbal report to NRC Region III Inspector, R.E. Masse, at 1010 hours0.0117 days <br />0.281 hours <br />0.00167 weeks <br />3.84305e-4 months <br /> on October 17, 1979.
At that time we reported that emergency power was removed from the Unit 2 Turbine Driven Auxiliary Feed Pump concurrently with the Unit 1 Motor Driven Auxiliary Feed Pump being out of service for routine maintenance.
This left only the Unit 2 Motor Driven Auxiliary Feed Pump operable with emergency power for a time period of two hours and forty-five minutes.
All normal auxiliary power supplies were available during this time period.
A followup report will be submitted by October 31,
- 1979, as required by Technical Specification Section 6.9.1.8.
