Tfiis office has received a copy of your Harch'7, 1979 application which you filed viith the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation-(NRR) for review and approval.
The application proposes Appendices. A'nd B.Technical 'Specification changes for Cook Units 1 and 2 and was
, accompanied by fees totalling $4,400 for Classes III and I.
From a preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that it involves consideration. of a single safety'issue for the-Appendix A radiological effluent Technical Specifications and a '-
single environmental issue for 'the. Appendix B environmental changes.
As such, the application requires two Class III fees totalling $8,000, and two Class' fees totalling $800 since the action is for both Units 1 and 2. It is requested that'your Company promptly forward the additional fee. of $4,400.
If after the final NRR evaluation of your request is completed it is determined that it was incorrectly classified, you will be refunded any overpayment or billed for any additionyl amount due.
