CHANGES TO PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION EMERGENCY PLAN, REVISION 20
Dear Mr. Levine:
4 This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated October 7, 1998, which transmitted changes to the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station Emergency Plan, Revision 20, under the provisions of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section V.
Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Ap'pendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, NRC approval is not required. We did not identify any violations of 10 CFR 50.54(q), during our review. Implementation of these changes willbe subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of.your emergency plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
