This refers to the meeting conducted in the Region IVoffice on May 26, 1999, to discuss your most recent licensed operator requalification training program biennial examinations and your strategic plan for operations training. During this meeting, your staff provided summary results of the licensed operator requalification training program biennial examinations administered in January arid February of this year. The discussions included strengths, challenges, and lessons learned from the biennial examinations.
Your staff also provided an overview of your strategic plan for the next requalification training 2-year cycle.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and enclosure willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
