1999 EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE SCENARIO We have reviewed your letter dated January 7, 1999, and the enclosed scenario for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station biennial exercise.
Based on our review, we determined that the exercise scenario is appropriate to meet emergency plan requirements.
Questions concerning the scenario were resolved during January 29 and February 9, 1999, telephone discussions with Messrs. Gary Cerkus and Chuck Bolle of your staff.
We contacted the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region IX, during our review. Mr. Richard Echavarria liad no comments for us to relay to you.
