Docket Nos. STN 50-528/529/530 Responses to September 8, 1998 NRC Request forAdditional Information Regarding Charging System Commitments for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station During a telephone conference call between members of the NRC staff and Arizona Public Service Company (APS) staff on September 8, 1998, the NRC requested additional information regarding responses provided in the referenced letter to questions about charging system commitments for PVNGS. Enclosed are the responses to the September 8, 1998 questions.
It should be noted that the engineering study in Attachment 2 to the Enclosure contains, information that is proprietary to ABB-CE, for which an affidavit is provided. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information should be withheld from public disclosure by the NRC, and specifically addresses the considerations listed in 10 CFR 2.790(b)(1). Accordingly, it is requested that Attachment 2 to the Enclosure be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(b)(1).
No commitments are being made to the NRC by this letter.
