SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-528/98-08; 50-529/98-08; 50-530/98-08
Dear Mr. Levine:
From October 4 through November 14, 1998, an inspection was conducted at your Palo Verde
Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the
scope and results of that inspection.
During the 6-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of activities at the Palo
Verde facilitywas generally characterized by safety-conscious
operations, sound engineering
and maintenance practices, and careful radiological controls.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter arid its
'nclosure
willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
