PREDECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE
SUMMARY
This refers to the closed, transcribed predecisional enforcement conference conducted in the Region IVoffice on March 31, 1998. This conference was convened to discuss three apparent violations, documented in our letter to you dated March 20, 1998. The apparent violations involved failures to: (1) comply with Technical Specification requirements in that a surveillance was not performed within the required time frame, (2) log the fact that the surveillance had not been performed within the required time frame, and (3) submit a Licensee Event Report related to this surveillance in a timely manner.
Enclosed with this letter are copies of certain handouts used during the conference.
In accordance with NRC policies, the transcript and certain documents containing information related to the investigation willnot.be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) at this time. Regarding any potential enforcement action, you willbe informed of the results of our deliberations in the future.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosures willbe placed in the NRC PDR.
