Rx tripped on low level in SG//2 when economizer valve drifted closed due to an abnormality in feedwater control system.

SUMMARY
The reactor tripped on low steam generator water level following spurious closing of the economizer regulating valve. Failure of the dynamic compensator card in the compensated level signal circuitry which is an input to the feedwater control system 2 (FWCS-2) master controller caused the partial closure.
