NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-528/97-12; 50-529/97-12; 50-530/97-12
Dear Mr. Levine:
An NRC inspection was conducted
May 5-9, 1997, at your Palo Verde Nuclear Generating
Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 reactor facilities. The enclosed
report presents
the scope and
results of that inspection.
The inspection determined that the secondary water chemistry and radiochemistry
programs were properly implemented.
The secondary chemistry control program showed
improvement during the past 2/~ years; and the chemistry department self-assessments
were an enhancement
to the quality assurance
program.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of this letter
and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
