NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-528;-529;-530/97-11
Dear Mr. Levine:
An NRC inspection was conducted
March 31 through April 4, 1997, at your Palo Verde
Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, reactor facilities. The enclosed report
presents the scope and results of that inspection.
This inspection reviewed the implemented and planned corrective actions to address
previous inspection findings and licensee event reports.
Our assessment
of these actions
was presented
to Mr. William Ide and other members of your staff during the exit meeting
conducted
on April 4 and in a subsequent
telephonic discussions
on April 15 and 29,
1 997.
In accordance
with.10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of this letter
and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
