NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-528/96-18; 50-529/96-18; 50-530/96-18
Dear Mr. Levine:
An NRC inspection was conducted December 29, 1996, through February 8, 1997, at your
Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 reactor facilities. The enclosed
report presents the scope and results of that inspection.
During the 6-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of activities at the Palo
Verde facility was generally characterized
by'safety-conscious
operations, sound
engineering and maintenance
practices, and careful radiological controls.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter,
its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
