NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-528/97-03; 50-529/97-03; 50-530/97-03
Dear Mr. Levine:
An NRC inspection was conducted January 27-31, 1997, at your Palo Verde Nuclear
Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 reactor facilities. The enclosed report presents the
scope and results of that inspection.
The liquid and gaseous
radioactive effluent waste programs were implemented in an
excellent manner.
The integrated self-assessment
modules were an enhancement
to the
quality assurance
program.
Discussions
were held on the appropriateness
of the nuisance
pathways section of your Offsite Dose Calculation Manual and are included in this report
for your review.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter
and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
