U ST FOR A DI IONAL INFORNT ON PR SSURIZER AUXILIARYSPRAY INE HERHA STRATIFICATION PALO VERDE NUC AR GENERATING ST TION The following additional information is requested to assist the staff in its review of the licensee's September 28, 1996, letter.
Provide an isometric diagram of the pressurizer auxiliary spray line and the main spray line, showing length, pipe sizes, and the location of all thermocouples used to measure the stratification.

Provide a diagram of the valve through which the leakage was detected.
State the leakage quantity, and the time interval it has been leaking.
Describe any plans to correct the leakage, including repair or replacement if applicable.
Provide the measured temperature time-histories for all thermocouples before and after the start of leakage to the present, or to the time the valve had been replaced.
Provide the basis for the statement "...interaction at the piping tee between the leakage flow and main spray flow is not expected to cause any cycling at the tee due to the relatively low main spray flow."
Provide temperature measurements and/or an analytical basis to support this statement.

State that the pressurizer auxiliary spray line/main spray line systems in Unit I and 2 are identical to that of Unit 3. If not, describe the differences.
