Units 1, 2and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-528/529/530 Core Operating Limits Reports:
Unit 1 Cycle 6, Revision 2; Unit 2 Cycle 7, Revision 1; and Unit 3 Cycle 6, Revision 3 Pursuant to PVNGS Unit 1, 2, and 3 Technical Specifications (TS) Section 6.9.1.10, enclosed are the following mid-cycle revisions to the Core Operating Limits Reports (COLRs): Unit 1 Cycle 6, Revision 2; Unit 2 Cycle 7, Revision 1; and Unit 3 Cycle 6, Revision 3.
These COLR revisions, issued on June 11, 1996, provide a new figure for shutdown margin - reactor trip breakers open, to implement the changes to TS 3.1.1.1 approved by the NRC in amendments 106, 98, and 78 for Units 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
Additional editorial format changes have been made to the Unit 1 and 3 COLRs to improve their ease of use, making them consistent with the Unit 2 COLR.
By copy of this letter and enclosures, these COLR revisions are being provided to the NRC Region IV Administrator, the Walnut Creek Field Office Director, and the PVNGS Senior Resident Inspector.
