Units 1, 2, and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-528/529/530 Emergency Response Data System Data Point Library Revisions File: 94-056-026'4-010-545 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.E.VI.3.a, Arizona Public Service Company (APS) submits herewith, as Enclosure 1 to this letter, a replacement Emergency Response Data System (ERDS)
Data Point Library for PVNGS Unit 3. This Data Point Library replaces, in.its entirety, the existing PVNGS Unit 3 ERDS Data Point Library currently installed on the ERDS Computer at the NRC Operations Center.
Additionally, Enclosures 2 and 3 contain changes to selected pages (with changes identified on each affected page) for the ERDS Data Point Library for Units 1 and 2, respectively.
The replacement ERDS Data Point Library for Unit 3 reflects changes due to incorporation
, of an upgraded emergency response facility data acquisition and display system (ERFDADS) into Unit 3 during the recently completed refueling outage (ERDS updates reflecting ERFDADS upgrades have previously been incorporated for Units 1 and 2).
Replacement pages for the Units 1 and 2 ERDS Data Point Libraries reflect changes in plant design and point description updates.
APS requests that a test ofthe Unit 3 ERDS, utilizingthe enclosed replacement Data Point Library, be scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
In addition to satisfying the system functionality test requirements of NUREG-1394, Revision 1, "Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) Implementation," this test will satisfy the second quarter 1994 testing program recommendations of Generic Letter 93-01, "Emergency Response Data System 940726054B

The Unit 1 and 2 quarterly tests were completed on June 16, 1994, as scheduled; however, the Unit 3 test was deferred as the unit was in its scheduled refueling outage and the ERFDADS upgrade was in progress.
A schedule for the Unit 3 ERDS test will be discussed with John Jolicoeur, ERDS Project Manager, NRC.
