Unit 3 Docket No. STN 50-530 Mid-Cycle Outage Schedule File: 94-056-026 The purpose of this letter is to provide confirmation of Arizona Public Service Company's (APS) intention to operate Unit 3 for up to six effective full-power months (6EFPM), not to exceed six full calendar months in Modes 1, 2, or 3 after startup (breaker closure) from the current refueling outage.
At the end of this time period, Unit 3 will be shut down for a mid-cycle outage to conduct a steam generator tube eddy current testing inspection.
The scope of the inspection plan will be forwarded to the NRC prior to the inspection.
