Units 1, 2, and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-528/529/530 NRC Generic Letter 89-10, Supplement 5, Inaccuracy of Motor-Operated Valve Diagnostic Equipment File: 94-010-026 94-180-419 By letter dated September 28, 1993, Arizona Public Service Company (APS) responded to Supplement 5 of NRC Generic Letter 89-10.
APS'etter indicated that vendor information regarding the accuracy of stem-mounted strain gauges would be evaluated for its effect on motor-operated valve test data by February 15, 1994.
As a result of APS'eview of the initial reports, additional information has been requested from the vendor to address stem-mounted strain gauge accuracy for each of the installation configurations used at PVNGS. Based upon the schedule for receipt of these additional reports, APS'inal evaluation, including the determination of appropriate corrective actions, will be completed by July 15, 1994.
