Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS)
Unit 2 Docket No. STN 50-529 Supplement to Request for Notice of Enforcement Discretion 93-055-026 The referenced letter requested a Notice of Enforcement Discretion from PVNGS Unit 1 and Unit 3 Technical Specification Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) 3.7.9.
APS is also requesting the NRC to exercise discretion in not enforcing compliance with the ACTION statement of TS LCO 3.7.9 for Unit 2 until an Emergency TS change can be processed and approved.
Otherwise, a mode change to Mode 5 would be prohibited.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91 (b)(1), a copy of this request is being forwarded to the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency.
