Dear Dr. Murley:
Subject:
Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS)
Units 1,2, and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-528/529/530 Response to Petition dated October 23, 1992, filed by Mr. Thomas J. Saporito, Jr.
File 92-056-026 8/" t Ili Arizona Public Service Company (APS) has reviewed the Petition, dated October 23, 1992, filed by Mr. Thomas J. Saporito, Jr., pursuant to 10 CFR 5 2.206.
As shown in detail in the attachment to this letter, the Petition does not identify any facts which might be the basis for the relief requested.
It consists primarily of characterizations of various documents already on the PVNGS public docket without any identification of any alleged current safety problems. In'o far as it alleges falsifications in documents submitted to the NRC, the Petition fails to identify the information alleged to be false or the basis for the allegation.
The Petition does not meet the standards of 10 CFR 5 2.206 and should be summarily rejected.

2.206.
The attachment to this letter demonstrates that the
- Petition, dated October 23, 1992, should be disposed of in like manner.
