PHOENIX, ARIZONA85072-2034 December 8,

1992

Dear Colleague:

The 1993 RMS/RETS h REMP Vorkshop hosted by Arizona Public Service Company will be held in Phoenix, Arizona on March 3-5, 1993.

Letters and questionnaires were mailed out to RMS/RETS 8 REMP people in Regions IV and V last August.

We still need a response from many of you.

Also, please pass this information along to anyone that may be interested whether they are in Region IV and V or not.

This is by no means intended to be an exclusive meeting, and are are certain that our list for mailing was neither exhaustive nor necessarily accurate.

Enclosed is the tentative schedule of Vorkshop Events and a brochure for the to be included on the schedule for a presentation or participate in a panel discussion o

Ve have made reservations for the workshop at the Hotel Vestcourt.

They have adequate meeting rooms and the sleeping rooms are

$85.00 per night, pIus 10.25%

sales tax, for single or double occupancy.

I'f this is too high for you, please let us know as there are many other motels in the area.

Please contact the hotel no later than February 10, 1993 to reserve your room, and be sure to tell them that you are with the APS Vorkshop.

Ve are providing a Continental breakfast, Buffet lunch, and refreshment breaks during the meetings on Vednesday and Thursday.

You will be on your own for dinners and entertainment, but there are many fine restaurants within walking

distance, and we will also have some suggestions for you for things to do on your own time.

If you are flyingin to Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, walk out from the baggage area to a Blue Diamond sign and get on a Super Shuttle to the Hotel Westcourt at MetroCenter.

The Hotel has a special rate arrangement with the Shuttle of $11.00 for the first person and $5.00 for each additional person traveling in a group.

Another option would be to rent a car.

If you are driving, get onto I-I7 going North toward Flagstaff and take the Dunlap Exit turning West.

Turn right at 28th Drive, and right again following the Metro Parkway loop around Metrocenter past the Rollercoaster.

Go straight at the next stop light, and watch for the Hotel Vestcourt on your left.

There is a map on the back of the enclosed brochure.

Please contact us with your plans as soon as possible.

Ve hope to see you in Phoenix in March.

Sincerely, Carolyn Warner Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station P.O.
