SCHEDULAR EXTENSION FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF GENERIC LETTER 89-10 FOR PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION (PVNGS)
UNIT 2 By letter dated January 10,
- 1992, you informed us of a change to your schedular commitments to Generic Letter (GL) 89-10 in Unit 2.
Specifically, you stated that you intend to complete the Unit 2 implementation of GL 89-10 by,the end of the refueling outage scheduled to begin in late 1994.
By conference call on April 22,
- 1992, NRC staff discussed with your staff the basis for this extension of your schedule.
During this call, NRC staff referred the licensee to paragraph l of GL 89-10 which states that revised schedules may be implemented without NRC approval, but that justification should be maintained on site for any future NRC inspector reviews.
This letter acknowledges the receipt of your stated intention to complete implementation of GL 89-10 in Unit 2 by the end of the refueling outage scheduled to begin in late 1994.
