PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION Steam Generator Tube Plugging License No. NPF-51 Docket No.

STN 50-529 Special Report 2-SR-91-003 This special report is provided pursuant to Palo Verde Unit 2 Technical Specifications 4.4.4.5(a) and 6.9.2 to report the number of steam generator tubes plugged as a result of inservice inspection activities.

On November 25, 1991, Unit 2 was in a refueling outage with the core off-loaded to the Spent Fuel Pool when an inservice inspection of both steam generators was completed.

The inspection resulted in the plugging of 15 tubes in Steam Generator No.

1 and 26 tubes in Steam Generator No. 2.

Pursuant to Technical Specification 4.4.4.5(b),

the complete results of the steam generator tube inservice inspection will be submitted by November 25, 1992.
